Fort Lauderdale Edition
Hospitality
In Progress
A natural extension of the hospitality corridor on the water in Fort Lauderdale, ODA's Edition Hotel & Residences feels like a large urban sculpture invoking the idea of a nest. The façade, inspired by the native Banyan tree, is a nod to the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens nearby. Mimicking its branches, the metal façade organically wraps around the building's massing in reeds of aluminum.
Located a block off the beach, The Fort Lauderdale Edition will offer an activated urban experience. The transparent ground floor is planned as an inclusive public space filled with retail and restaurants opening up to Breakers Avenue. Lush, diverse landscape outlines the building on all four sides.
