The Office for Design and Architecture seeks Interior Designer or Architect with extensive experience, strength, and interest in interior design with minimum of 5 years experience preferably in high-end hospitality and/or residential design. Candidates should have strong design and detailing skills, experience in preparing construction documents and sourcing high-end FFE and finishes for large scale projects, and would be expected to work on high-profile hospitality and residential projects in New York City. This position will require you to work collaboratively on a project team to bring a project from concept to completion. You will be required to express your ideas both visually and verbally. Responsibilities include working on presentation sketches/renderings, preparing and coordinating interior design drawing sets and documenting FFE/finish specifications. Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task numerous projects and deadlines are also required. Candidates must be proficient in AutoCad; knowledge of 3D software is a plus but not required.
